Captain Jonathan Archer, Commander T'pol, chief engineer Commander Trip Tucker III, Doctor Phlox, armoury officer Lieutenant Malcolm Reed, helmsman Ensign Travis Mayweather and linguist Ensign Hoshi Sato must form an interplanetary alliance against the Romulan threat. When they return to the Sol System to witness the launch of Enterprise's sister starship Columbia, Dr Pholox is kidnapped by the Klingons. Both Starfleet ships race to rescue him from his captors and Reed is torn between his allegiance to the captain and a secret organisation.

Starring Brent Spinner, the actor behind Data in Star Trek The Next Generation, as a scientist try to solve the mystery of an alien force attempting to rewrite human DNA into a triple helix configuration.

Lost is the new drama series that is taking the US by storm has now crashed onto the UK shores. Lost has fourteen (count 'em, fourteen) main characters each with a unique history and personalities. They are brought together when their plane goes off course and crashes on a tropical island. As the survivors begin to explore they realise the terrible truth that they are far from alone and their lives are still in danger.

Lost is directed in a gripping and realistic fashion with action sequences of a cinematic quality. This is a plot driven, character based drama but the island presents dangers of a surreal and fantastic nature including polar bears, a large tree destroying beast, an impenetrable signal and a mysterious door leading underground. Lost is a ground breaking show which will keep you watching every week.

Smallville season five UK television premier begins Monday 9th January 2006 9:00 PM on E4.

Smallville also known as Superman: The Early Years was the main rival to Star Trek Enterprise in the USA. Starring Tom Welling as Clark Kent the Kryptonian refugee coming to terms with his alien abilities and his destiny and Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang, Clarke's love interest.

Smallville first premiered Monday 31st December 2001, assumed on E4 and last aired 7:00 PM Friday 9th December 2005 on E4+1 with the season four finale, Commencement.

Jake 2.0 continues to repeat it's only season on Thursdays on Sky Three.

Jake 2.0 premiered 8:00 PM Thursday 12th February 2004 on Sky One and was last year's one season wonder. Jake Fowley is a computer technician who gains remarkable abilities and joins a secret government agency as a spy. The show is a light hearted homage to some of the great action shows of the 70's and 80's, most notably The Six Million Dollar Man. Jake 2.0 was cancelled three episode before the the series finale in which Jake losses his powers and must face DuMont without the nanites to help him. There is currently no DVD release of the series

Tru Calling continues to repeat it's only season on Thursdays on Sky Three.

Tru Calling is another one season wonder of 2004. While a second season was filmed and partially broadcast in the USA, season two was never shown on Sky One.
